Description

Microprocessors used in personal computers or other general purpose applications consisting of various discrete chips, where as in contrast  the Microcontrollers are designed for embedded applications.

Course Objective

1. Introduction to  architecture, internal operations, instructions and timings of microprocessors and microcontrollers.
2. To introduce 8051 architecture and programming of microcontroller.
3. To introduce basic concepts of interfacing memory and peripheral devices to a microprocessor & microcontroller.
